    Hello Magda,

    thank you for the info!
Does it mean that you changed the theme in general, so that theme updates will keep this in the future? Or do I have to back it up manually?

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

thanks a lot for helping, this sounds great!

Can you tell me which files or attributes were fixed? (Just to understand and keep my backup updated).

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

    I’m glad too 🙂

It was just a test using WooCommerce in the standard Twenty Sixteen Theme. I always had different box heights, because of the content. In the Charlotte Theme there are always equal box heights and this looks much better.

I was hoping it’s just an easy way by CSS?
Anyway, you solved the responsive issue and that’s great.

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

VERY GOOD 🙂 This should fix the other iPad’s problem too. THANK YOU!!!

I’m also using WooCommerce on another site, but can’t get the product boxes in an equal height like here – is this CSS too or how did you realize it?

    Great support (like always) 😉

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

    thanks a lot, it’s gone 🙂

It’s an iPad my colleague used, I don’t know yet which version.
I tried iPad Mini with 768x1024px, the boxes are not shrunk, but text is going out at the right and bottom (img).

It would be great if you can fix this too, maybe the other iPad’s error is solved by this as well..

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

I found it a minute ago and added a class and it works great!

    .nolink.ct-imageBox a {
    pointer-events: none;
    cursor: default;
    }

    Thanks a lot 🙂

    Hello Magda,

thanks a lot for the quick response!

Yes, this solves the problem, but removes the links from every box on the homepage.
How can I set it to remove only the link from the box on the image?

Sorry, I couldn’t find an ID for this box only, but it sholuld be possible I guess?

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

I will contact the WooCommerce support.

Please let me know, if you find a solution for the customizers’ background issue.

Thanks a lot for all your help!

    Hello Magda,

thank you so much for helping!
Now everything works, so both issues were based on having the wrong path – sometimes it’s so easy 😉

Now there is only one thing left: I recognized that the VAT is calculated wrong, in Germany we have 19% and I put it in the settings for taxes (img), but the summary in the checkout isn’t correct (img). Do you have an idea what’s going wrong?

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

I don’t understand the reason, because I edited the translation files and just changed some standard German translations like “Warenkorb” to “Bestellliste”, they all are already in the files I put in the “languages” folder. You can find it, if you are looking for the English expression “cart”.

Thanks for also investigating the email template issue.

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

yes, this part is translated now, but I made a lot of individual translations in the po/mo-files (I put them in the folder and named it for you) but they are gone now.

And my translations or edited email templates are still not showing..

Hope you have an idea? Thanks a lot.

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

thank you, I can’t find the reason and got stuck 🙁

    Hello Magda,

I didn’t change the credentials, it must work, because I use the same. Try again or sent in private reply.

Yes, I tried and checked the sent emails (admin and customer), no changes.

I will have a look at the tutorial..

    Best regards,

    Hello Magda,

I edited the language files and put them in wp-content > languages > woocommerce, but I still have a mix inside the shop, untranslated files in English e.g. in the header of the product categories results (img). Found the string in the po-file, looks correct, but it’s not translated.

I also edited the email templates with German text and put them in the child theme in woocommerce > templates > emails, but also the sent emails have different content.

There is another issue: When I put a logo into the email header in WooCommerce options it’s placed on top of the header (img), can I get it into the header on the left side?

    Thanks a lot for helping.

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

now I got it, Plugin works fine! WooCommerce header images in every category 🙂

One more question about the WooCommerce language files, should I open a new post for that?
(concerning language mix in the shop and emails)

    Best regards,

    Hello Magda,

thanks – it was just a try.

    Hello Magda,

thank you, now I have it 🙂

Hope we find a solution, it’s really confusing how complex this can be 😉

    Hello Magda,

    thanks again for fixing it!

Can you tell me exactly where both files you replaced are located? I can’t find them..

I updated everything in my test environment, but the background images issue is still the same, doesn’t work with the customizer.

For now it’s ok having the background images changed via CSS, but it would be great if you find the solution for it.

    Best regards,
    D.

PS: Now I tried to change again the “shop index sidebar background image” in my former WP installations on my test server and locally: It doesn’t work neither, so this might not be to be a server error?

    Hello Magda,

the debug mode is activated by the provider, I don’t have access to the wp-config.
We get parse errors for the buggy urls.

Just tell me when you check it and it would be great to find the solution for the background issue.

    Best regards,
    D.

    Hello Magda,

I just got an email from the provider, they still haven’t solved the problem. I suggested to try the wp-config changes you sent.

I also exported the database and had no problems at all on my localhost, so it’s on the provider’s side to solve these problems.

    Hope that they answer quickly…

Thanks for your help, I’ll let you know asap when I hear from them.

    Best regards,
    D.
