By the way… we tested another dev.site… with the new orlando2.8 + VC,
then imported our content . Everything works properly !!!

Maybe the following information will give you a clue to solve VC issues.
We found a temporary solution. (but not perfect) . And it will no longer work after an update (wp or theme). We compared with other functional theme that uses Visual composer. We found out that there is an difference in the file post.php
In orlando theme: var = vc_user_mapper = empty
It’s the WPBMap getUserShortCodes :: function () = nothing
So we (copy-pasted) the contents of the variable from a a functional VC in your code : wp-content / plugins / js_composer442 / include / templates / editors / partials / backend_editor_footer.tpl.php
It works temporarily, but not perfectly with ex: Home slider, Section header,
but I’d like to find a better solution….
There are 3 versions of visual dial. I’m using 4.4.2 for now
1) when do you expect to fix the issue ?
2) The NAV menu disapeared… is it due to your tests ?
3) I have a backup from a week ago (I guess before theses VC conflicts…)
is it better for me to upload this previous version or that will interfere with your tests ?
Hello, I find that the Visual composer is still inaccessible. Do yo you guys expect to fix that today ? My client pushes me in the back to complete this web project. If you dont have answers by today, is it a good option for me to buy the full visual composer version $ 34 and install it? or I’ll have the same problem with your Orlando theme?
