    the first code worked,
    the second one I’ve changed to
    .navbar {
    padding: 0px 40px 22px;
    }
    but it is still a bit low.
    can I put it up any higher, please?

    1. is it possible to move menu slightly up
    2. how can I remove a white line from under HOME button in the menu when you hover over it?

    but it doesn’t make any difference. it still doesn’t fit the page. I actually need the logo to be bigger and no need for search button.

    I had a bit more time on the weekend and looked through the code.

    I added the code for the Logo and it positioned well now. You can check, plz.

    in the style.css file on the line 11863 I did following
    1.remover this code completely
    .navbar .navbar-menu .navbar-header {
    margin-top: 4px;
    }
    nothing happened.

    2. Changed it to
    .navbar .navbar-menu .navbar-header {
    margin-top: -80px;
    }

    nothing happened.

    Do you have another suggestion for me, please?

    }

    into style.css file, is it correct?
    I put it insted of code on the line 302 and nothing happens.

    What did I do wrong?

    thank you for your reply.
    I worked from DreamWawer and Google preview worked fine, now I uploaded it to the server it’s all messed up – http://www.goldthreaduk.co.uk/TEST/index8.html
    I will appreciate your help on this because I am not a profi.

    Basically, I would like the page to be as clear as possible. The logo needs to be in the left corner, the MENU slid down, I don’t know why. and yes I’d like the slider TEXT to be slightly down to the bottom of the page and can’t change it.
