Hey Magda, thank you for writing back. I was able to get it resolved last night. I feel rather foolish now…the theme itself controls what is set as home and what is set as blog. All working great now. Just have to go get rid of the black bar on the bottom and shrink the footer size again….rather cumbersome objects. Thanks my friend.

I have tested with all plugins deactivated and problem persists.
I cleared browsing cache
Everything began after selecting php5.4 within my websites host. it would elsewise default to php5.4 so this shouldn’t have made any errors but this did.
