  • Ho Magda,

Everything has been fixed. Please close the ticket. Because of your commenta I realized the problem had to be caused by a server error at the same time I was updating the theme. Just bad luck. Sorry I expressed myself not clearly enough.

Works like a charm again 🙂

    Hi Magda,

It seems I had a server error at the time I was upgrading the theme.
This caused some errors afterwards. I just reinstalled a backup and will now try to upgrade to 1.8

Hope it will work out this time.

    Best regards,
    Geert

    Hi Magda

    Thanks again!

I only make changes in the custom CSS code area and never in the original stylesheets. I should be OK if I copy and save de custom CSS and put it back after having installed the new version. And…I make a daily backup of the site, so it should be safe. Thanks for warning me.

I will look in to the child theme documentation. Could be handy for future projects.

    Best regards,
    Geert

OK, I figured it out Magda. The thme takes care of it.

Just wondered…is there a way to create different menus on different pages with different restaurant categories showing only specific menu items (within that category). Eg: Page with Lunch – showing only the lunch dish categories buttons -> specific lunch dishes and
Dinner – showing only the dinner dish categories buttons -> specific lunch dishes.
    Catering – etc…..

Hope you understand what I mean.

I tried various ways to achieve ths, but I think it’s not possible in a standard way…not touching the code.

    Best regards
    Geert

    Thanks Magda,

Ik noticed by the way, that the location of the code in the style sheet matters.
    Is that correct?

An suggestion for all those customers who would like to customize the theme. An overview of the most important css classes for fonts, buttons, borders eg. to place into the customcode area. It’s a real timesaver.

    Regard,
    Geert
